Rev. Dr. Gama earned his Doctoral Degree with the topic "The Relationship between Church and State: a theologically based investigation into the social doctrine of the church and her role in matters of social justice, with special reference to the Blantyre Synod" - which very much define his today's important position.

Rev. DR. Gama faithfully served his church in a number of positions; Presbytery Youth Director, Board Chairman of Church and Society Board of the Blantyre Synod, Chairperson- Njamba Prayers (Ecumenical), Peace and Justice Commission- Evangelical Association of Malawi, Secretary General- Boys and Girls Brigade in Malawi, Youth Coordinator- CCAP General Assembly, Chairperson-Operation Sunrise Africa (OSA) - and many international responsibilities.

For all these achievements, humble Rev Dr. Gama says: “ I don't see myself, I see my life with God”
