Ms. Ana Pleško is the Director of Simbioza Genesis, one of the largest volunteer organizations and social enterprises. She is active in youth work, intergenerational cooperation and e-literacy for all generations for the past 10 years in various organizations. Ms. Pleško helped lead the biggest nationwide Slovenian action on encouraging e-literacy among seniors and advanced e-literacy among young people in 2013, with 3000+ volunteers and 5000+ senior participants per year.

Since then, she is actively engaged in promoting an inclusive digital society for all generations and represents a true digital ambassador on the national level, connecting various stakeholders from public, business and civil sectors. As the Simbioza project grew, new initiatives were developed, among them several for empowering youth with less opportunities through digital skills.

During Ms. Pleško’s presence, Simbioza received many national and international awards and recognition for devoted work. Their core activities are based on empowering all generations with digital knowledge, especially focusing on raising digital skills and providing access to new technologies to senior citizens (55+) through intergenerational cooperation and volunteering of youth.
