A graduate from Kyambogo University (Uganda), with valuable skills in: primary health care, sexual and reproductive health, gender-based violence, assistance in producing reproductive health programs and providing family counseling, and advocating for provision of adolescent and youth information and services.
Ms Koputo is the Founder and CEO of Women and Children Health Organization, which is a South Sudan, non-governmental, non-profit and non-political organization contributing towards humanitarian services and development, especially health and wellbeing of women and children. This includes Ms Koputo’s work for preventive healthcare, sanitation, nutrition, education to save the lives of children who are homeless and orphaned, fight against gender-based discrimination, improving women's health and rights, and reduction of disparities in healthcare available to women and newborns.
Ms Koputo continues to work towards providing better health care services to children and women and has implemented a project called Amplifying Women’s Voices on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights and Peace in South Sudan. She organizes community dialogues on sexual and health rights, family planning, gender-based violence against women and adolescent girls, child marriage or forced marriage, and power dynamics in relationships between men and women. Ms Koputo continues to fight for the rights of the vulnerable population.
