In 1996, Mr. Colja learned about the Vedic lifestyle and started as a volunteer at the Food For Life organization, which has its origins in India. He has been an active volunteer since 1996 and is currently coordinating the humanitarian activities of Food For Life Slovenia, a humanitarian society that addresses environmental and poverty issues of socially deprived groups through delivering fresh meals and surplus food. The vision of the project is to build a sub-kitchen that can be easily replicated in other cities in need. The sub-kitchen will provide free, fresh healthy meals that are enriched with spiritual essence.

To support humanitarian activities and his family, he is building a business with plant-based products and solutions for restaurants.
