Born in 1961, a Lebanese Canadian Lawyer, Mr. Jamaleddine is an activist of human rights and an advocate of green energy and organic vegetation.
In 1984, in the midst of the Lebanese civil war, Mr. Jamaleddine founded the Lebanese Association of Human Rights and fought religious and sectarian discrimination in his country. In 1986, Mr. Jamaleddine represented Lebanon in the Human rights World Conference in Vienna.
His ambition and hard work towards his career drove him to not only achieve a successful career but also allowed him to continue his humanitarian and activism on a larger scale. Mr. Jamaleddine is known for his fierce and determined fights against discrimination based on sex, ethnicity, gender, skin color and race. Thus, he continues to take on pro bono cases legally defending victims of discrimination as well as victims of sexual harassment and domestic abuse.
Mr. Fady’s work is known amongst the Beirut Bar Association as he protected the right of lawyers to an equal and decent health and medical insurance. Mr. Jamaleddine is an advocate of education and believes every person, without exception, must have a proper education, Thus, contributing to the elimination of illiteracy amongst Syrian refugees, focusing on children and women.
In addition, Mr. Jamaleddine established a pilot farm operated through green energy as an experiment field for organic vegetation. Even though Mr. Fady achieved a successful legal career and fought for his community to obtain the basic rights of individuals whether they are his fellow colleagues or victims of discrimination or abuse, his work is not done as he has further plans in the organic and green energy field that, with hope, will benefit his country and potentially other countries. He also continues to use his legal status and experience to fight for and defend all types of victims
