Swami Amritananda, having renounced his home at the young age of 12, embraced the life of a monk. in the tea gardens of assam-bengal, Swami Ji orchestrated mass marriages for 23,500 pairs of tribal men and women. He has established numerous cow shelters, saving approximately 100,000 cows from slaughter. Additionally, he has planted hundreds of thousands of trees in the Mathura Vrajmandal region. Through his public interest litigations in the supreme court of India and NGT, he has played a significant role in promoting Vajrmandal Govardhan production. Swami Amritananda is the founder of the Sanatan Hindu Gurukul in Haridwar.
