Swami Adrishananda was born in Uttar Pradesh, India. At a young age, seeking spiritual awakening he joined the mission of Baba Maha Sambhoothi. He subsequently received Diksha from him and was formally initiated into Sannyasa sampradaya in Varanasi.

Swami Adrishananda came to the Los Angeles area in 1997. Ever since he has been a pillar of Hindu religious community as the chief priest of Pasadena Hindu temple and currently at Shri Nand Shiv Durga Mandir in Montebello, CA.
