Ms. Toor is a community activist promoting positive change in communities and individuals through advocacy empowered by the compassion and love she shares for her country, community as well as her family.
Ms. Toor worked as Curator of the Interior decorative Art at the Edward-Dean Museum in Riverside County for over 30 years. Currently, Ms. Toor is a board member of Vishav Hindu Parishad, Redlands, Norco Corona Area Interfaith; and has recently been chosen to be the President of the Redlands Area Interfaith council.
As an educator, Ms. Toor has worked in both India and the United States assisting children with disabilities; and is currently serving as Assistant principal of Khalsa school at the Riverside Sikh Center. She has also served as the President of the Indian Association of Inland Empire, founder of Virsa American Punjabi club, Vice President of GOPIO inland, Vice chair on the Redlands Cultural Art commission and on the board of Museum of Redlands, and as a secretary in charge of outreach programs at the Gurdwara of Sadh Sangat, Norco, California for five years.
