Mr. Dipan Mitra is the Secretary General World Hindu Federation – Bangladesh Chapter

Mr. Mitra is an Education Specialist, Human Rights Activist and Prominent Hindu Leader in Bangladesh. He completed a Master Degree in Computer Application from Sikkim Manipal University, India and MED from BRAC University, Bangladesh.

He has appeared in Ph.D. research at National University, Bangladesh and is involved in different government and non-government or no ganizations such as Save the Children. He has been working in IED-BRAC University as an Education Specialist since 2006.

Mr. Mitra gained in-depth knowledge and experience in Child Rights and Human Rights. He is Executive Member of Inter Religion Harmony Society. He is working hard for social, political, economic and religious rights for minorities in Bangladesh.

He is an Executive Member of South Asian Peoples Forum, people to people connectivity in this region. He is Secretary General of World Hindu Federation (WHF) – Bangladesh Chapter and Coordinator of World Hindu Federation – European Union Chapter.

His main motto is to promote human rights to foster social, political and religious affinities irrespective of caste, religion and social status.
