Imam Dr. Muhammad Nurayn Ashafa, is the Co-Executive Director of Interfaith Mediation Centre, in Kaduna, Nigeria. Through the years he has contributed on issues relating to faith-based approach and conflict-resolution in countries around the world. Imam Ashafa’s work has earned him numerous honors including: an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Interfaith Development by the University of Glasgow; and the Search for Common Ground on Interfaith Cooperation Award, Washington DC, USA – to name just a few. Imam Ashafa has taken an active role in several documentary films including “Hero’s of Peace” and “An African Answer”.
