Dr. Reena Johar is the President of Disha Darshan, a non-profit organization based in California to help South Asian abused women. She is also the founder of Vishwa Hindu Jyoti in Fremont, California. She is a Medical Practitioner by profession and also practices law in both the United States and India and has worked with the American Red Cross as a certified trainer and disaster responder. Dr. Johar has been awarded the US President's Medal for relief work done in the 2014 earthquake of Nepal and the San Jose floods.

Dr. Johar's passion for serving humanity, protecting human rights and human relations as well as her leadership in supporting those who are most needy, fuels her life – being an inspiration for several other young girls and women.
